Niti Ayog (Formerly known as Planning Commission of India)
The NITI Aayog (National Institution for Transforming India) is a policy think tank of the Government of India, established with the aim to achieve sustainable development goals with cooperative federalism by fostering the involvement of State Governments of India in the economic policy-making process using a bottom-up approach. It was established in 2015, by the NDA government, to replace the Planning Commission which followed a top-down model. The NITI Aayog council comprises all the state Chief Ministers, along with the Chief Ministers of Delhi and Puducherry, the Lieutenant Governor of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and a vice-chairman nominated by the Prime Minister.
Its initiatives include "15-year road map", "7-year vision, strategy, and action plan", AMRUT, Digital India, Atal Innovation Mission, Medical Education Reform, agriculture reforms (Model Land Leasing Law, Reforms of the Agricultural Produce Marketing Committee Act, Agricultural Marketing and Farmer Friendly Reforms Index for ranking states), Indices Measuring States’ Performance in Health, Education and Water Management, Sub-Group of Chief Ministers on Rationalization of Centrally Sponsored Schemes, Sub-Group of Chief Ministers on Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Sub-Group of Chief Ministers on Skill Development, Task Forces on Agriculture and up of Poverty, and Transforming India Lecture Series.
In addition, temporary members are selected from leading universities and research institutions. These members include a chief executive officer, four ex-official members, and two part-time members. Expodian Educational & Welfare trust is a registered member of Niti Ayog.
Ministry of Women and Child Development
TheMinistry of Women and Child Development, a branch of the Government of India, is an apex body for formulation and administration of the rules and regulations and laws relating to women and child development in India. The Department of Women and Child Development, Government of India, came into existence as a separate Ministry with effect from 30th January, 2006; earlier since 1985 it was a Department under the Ministry of Human Resources Development. The Ministry was constituted with the prime intention of addressing gaps in State action for women and children for promoting inter-Ministerial and inter-sectoral convergence to create gender equitable and child-centred legislation, policies and programmes.Expodian Educational & Welfare trust is a registered member of Ministry of Women and Child Development
Ministry of Labour & Employment
The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment is one of the oldest and most important Ministries of the Government of India. The Ministry of Labour and Employment is India's federal ministry which is responsible to protect and safeguard the interest of workers in general and the poor deprived and disadvantaged sections of the society. The Ministry aims to create a healthy work environment for higher production and productivity and to develop and coordinate vocational skill training and employment. However, Skill Development responsibilities, such as Industrial training and Apprenticeship responsibilities were transferred to the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship from November 2014.The Ministry launched the National Career Service portal in July 2015 to help bridge the gap between job providers and job seekers. Government’s attention is also focused on promotion of welfare and providing social security to the labour force both in organized and unorganized sectors, in tandem with the process of liberalization. These objectives are sought to be achieved through enactment and implementation of various labour laws, which regulate the terms and conditions of service and employment of workers. The State Governments are also competent to enact legislations, as labour is a subject in the concurrent list under the Constitution of India. At present, there are 44 labour related statutes enacted by the Central Government dealing with minimum wages, accidental and social security benefits, occupational safety and health, conditions of employment, disciplinary action, formation of trade unions, industrial relations, etc. The list of Central Acts is annexed.Expodian Educational & Welfare trust is a registered member of Ministry of Labour and Employment.
Early Childhood Association (ECA)
The Early Childhood Association The Early Childhood Association is set up with the vision that all the preschools, balwadis, N.G.O's, children's activity classes, parents, student teachers, media houses, companies that deal with children's products, in short everyone connected to young children can all come together to advocate, discuss, learn and share, connect and bring about a change in the quality of care development and learning in early childhood in India. The Early Childhood Association is a registered body and has three levels:
• Advisory Panel led by eminent educationists, doctors and celebrities.
• A working committee that will be elected from members every two years.
• General members.
The Early Childhood Association aims to be that one stop connection needed by all for the enrichment, networking, awareness and advocacy of childhood and everything that affects it. The Early Childhood Association wants to help professionals, teachers, people who deal with children through their work in balwadis, day care centers, rural crèches, teacher training colleges and entrepreneurial network (basically anyone who contributes directly or indirectly into the caring of a child) and be able to provide them with resources of every sort. This could range from information, latest research, training and ideas and perhaps solutions and counseling.Expodian Educational & Welfare trust is a registered member of Early Childhood Association (ECA).
Association for Primary Education and Research (APER)
'Let childhood be the right of every child, everywhere': With this dream and vision, the Early Childhood Association of India was formed. Having had eight successful and eventful years, the ECA decided to extend its boundaries and offer similar services in the areas of enrichment, networking, research and assessment for the primary years too. This led to the creation of Association for Primary Education and Research (APER), as a vertical under the aegis of ECA.
APER is tailored around promoting a growth mind set which will help to ignite the human greatness in all stakeholders. APER will support teacher training and enhancement programs that will aid in promoting the holistic development of children by promoting creativity, strengthening self-directed learning skills, imbibing core values, as well as helping them adopt a healthy life style. Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME)
Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector has emerged as a highly vibrant and dynamic sector of the Indian economy over the last five decades. MSMEs not only play crucial role in providing large employment opportunities at comparatively lower capital cost than large industries but also help in industrialization of rural & backward areas, thereby, reducing regional imbalances, assuring more equitable distribution of national income and wealth. MSMEs are complementary to large industries as ancillary units and this sector contributes enormously to the socio-economic development of the country. Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment
The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment is a Government of India ministry. It is responsible for welfare, social justice and empowerment of disadvantaged and marginalized sections of society, including scheduled castes (SC), Other Backward Classes (OBC), the disabled, the elderly, and the victims of drug abuse. Basic objective of the policies, programmes, law and institution of the Indian welfare system is to bring the target groups into the mainstream of development by making them self-reliant.
